# nano skills

Agent skills for designing user interfaces, from nano (https://nano.design). Read a skill's SKILL.md and follow it; it links to reference files to read when a step needs them.

## design-taste

Design taste for UI and UX work. Builds clear visual hierarchy, a deliberate type, color and spacing system, and a distinct aesthetic direction for each design so results don't all look the same. Use whenever you design, build, restyle or review a user interface (landing pages, web and mobile apps, dashboards, forms, components, emails, slides), in code, HTML and CSS, or a design tool. Also use when the output is something people will look at, even if the request never says "design".

## nano

Design in nano.design, a canvas where designs are real HTML and CSS that people and AI agents edit together live. Use when the person mentions nano or nano.design, shares a nano link (nano.design/d/…), or nano tools are available (create_frame, write_html, screenshot, get_handoff). Also use when they want to design screens, set up a design system, explore visual directions side by side, import from Figma, review a design, or turn a design into code, and would benefit from a canvas they can open, watch and edit.
